Your type, without rigid boxes
Four axes — energy, perception, decisions and structure — on a continuous scale, anchored in the Big Five. Discover your four letters and your archetype.
This test organizes personality into four axes (E/I, S/N, T/F, J/P), as in the 16-types tradition — but on a continuous scale and empirically anchored in the Five-Factor Model (Big Five): energy maps to Extraversion; perception to Openness; decisions to Agreeableness; structure to Conscientiousness. No cognitive functions and no forced dichotomies. There are 48 statements; the result is a self-knowledge estimate, not a diagnosis.

Seus quatro eixos
Each axis is a continuum, not a box: the dot shows which side you lean to and how much. Near the middle = you use both sides depending on the situation.
You across life areas
How your type tends to show up in daily life — what to lean into and what to balance. A developmental estimate, never a verdict.

How it's calculated — and the science
The four-axis format (energy, perception, decisions and structure) is a popular convention for describing personality. Instead of using cognitive functions (which lack empirical support) or forcing you onto a fixed side, we anchor each axis in one of the Five Factors (Big Five), the most validated model in psychology, and show the result on a continuous scale.
The correspondences are documented in the literature (McCrae & Costa, 1989; Furnham, 1996): Energy (E/I) ↔ Extraversion; Perception (S/N) ↔ Openness; Decisions (T/F) ↔ Agreeableness; Structure (J/P) ↔ Conscientiousness. Each axis has 12 statements (24 per direction, counterbalanced). We sum and convert to a percentage for each pole; the four letters form your code, and together they define the archetype.
Frequently asked questions
Is this the same as the MBTI?
No. We use the generic four-axis format, but with our own model and archetypes, without Jungian cognitive functions and — the main difference — on a continuous scale anchored in the Big Five. We have no affiliation with the MBTI, a third-party trademark.
Why a continuous scale?
Because most people land in the middle of the axes. Showing “60% Introversion” is truer and more stable than forcing a fixed side — precisely the scientific criticism of type tests.
Is it free?
Yes, 100% free, no sign-up and no email. The result appears instantly and is saved only in your browser.
How long does it take?
About 7 to 10 minutes. There are 48 statements on a 1-to-5 scale.
Can I land in the middle of an axis?
You can, and it's common. When you're near 50%, we show it — it means you move between both sides depending on context.
